Highlights of 2014:

  •   Getting into Med School; it wasn't easy, neither was it straight-forward. But BABA GOD NONI! Tale for another day.

  • Trip to DUBAI!! Shout out to my uncle & aunty.

                            And so much more . . .

1 4 lessons learnt in 2 0 1 4
okay these aren't necessarily lessons, just want to share a few things that will stick with me from my experiences in 2 0 1 4. And hopefully a few tips you can incorporate into your 2 0 1 5.

  1. Appreciation: I learnt the importance of appreciating life, health, food, friends, family. Don't wait till you loose something before you truly appreciate its worth.
  2. Everyone deserves a second chance.
  3. Don't let past failures make you feel inadequate or incapable of achieving.
  4. Never give up on yourself: your vision & your dream. Have a dream? Write it down & pursue it.
  5. Prayer is the most important weapon in battle.
  6. Be open to change, new adventures and opportunites.
  7. Sometimes, have a plan B.
  8. Have a problem? Talk to God 1ST!!
  9. Never compare yourself with anyone. You have different destinies.
  10. God's plan is far better & greater than what you may have envisaged for your life.
  11. Don't be afraid to loose people that add no value to your life.
  12. You cannot be friends with everyone.
  13. Change is inevitable.
  14. Surround yourself with like-minded people. Surround yourself with people that believe in you & your vision.

Now evaluate your 2 0 1 4 with no regrets.
Make sure you begin 2 0 1 5 with no excesses & a clear mindset..

New year, new er'thing.

'Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you  not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert'                                                              -Isaiah43:19 AMP

'Tis the season.

    'Tis the season to be jolly;
fa la la la la, la la la la

Is it too late to sing Christmas carols??
Nehh. Never too late.

Even though Christmas Day has come&gone..
We're still in the jolly season.

   MERRY CHRISTMAS READERS!
I hope you all had a fantastic one.

Amidst the eating & drinking,

REMEMBER that the purpose of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of           Christ Our Saviour (Messiah): JESUS . so He is indeed ..

               the REASON for this SEASON.

'For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and
His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace'
                     -Isaiah9:6 AMP

'For to you is born this day in the town of David
a Saviour, who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!'
                     -Luke2:11 AMP

Take care of His business.

Hey beautiful people; hope you're all doing great?

In case you were wondering, I'm doing just fine, working hard out here to secure myself a better future...
Blahhhblahhhhblahhhhblaaah
.... don't let me 'bore' you with the details of medschool.
Trust me, we'd be here ALL night loooooong.

You've had a lucky escape today, tomorrow might be a different story :P

Rant over.

Take care of His business?

So you may ask, whose business should I take care of?

GOD's BUSINESS!

 - But seek (aim at strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. - Matthew 6:33 (AMP)

My Interpretation of Matthew 6:33:
a. Be concerned about His Kingdom, then every other blessing will be provided unto you.

b. Strive after His approval by doing things that are right and living right then every other blessing will be added unto you.

As a student, it is normal to get weighed down with school work.      Projects, exams & write-ups here and there ..
But when it is time to engage in activities which involve serving the Lord, let us avoid making excuses;  ''Ohhh, well I have this dissertation to complete'' - you had the whole week to complete it, why did you leave your dissertation till Sunday? That is procrastination at its best!!

Create time for GOD!
Remember that when you take care of God's business, He will surely take care of yours.

Till next time, x

New Beginnings.

A year & a few months and I'M BACK!

Might not be the best timing but God willing, I'll try to leave something here for you.
Every two weeks maybe? .. a month .. ? or whenever I feel inspired.

I need some consistency up in here.
Can I get an Amen brother?

So NEW BEGINNINGS huh?

This past year has been extremely busy hence my absence;
but I'm aware that busy is an understatement for the years ahead.

Despite my 'busy-ness', I've learnt A LOT of things..
... about myself, life, people . . just everything!
Now I'm a little bit wiser & stronger!!
Jheeeeeeeze!! Haha don't mind me.

In my upcoming posts,
I'll share parts of what I've learnt in the hope that it encourages & inspires you.

I'm not fully grown yet, still learning
so as I embark on this new chapter in my life ..
[Did someone say UNDERGRAD? Yep that's me.. GLORY TO GOD],
I'll keep you all posted as it all unravels.

Thanks for stopping by...

Peace, love and m&m's
